Oaxaca Street Art and Graffiti (part 1)

Sorry it took so long to get this up. More farm pictures to come, but first we wanted to showcase some of our favorite Oaxacan graffiti. This is part 1 of a several part series, get pumped.

APPO territory.

"Woman is synonomous with resistence."

This is a shirt, not grafitti, but I like it. "No god, no love, no husband, no (political) party."

FRIDA! Someone drew in a gun. Badass.

Cameron likes this street. Our neighbor Val lives on it.

"Not even a peso from the people to political parties. Annul your vote!"

"Rebellion is life, submission is death." - Ricardo Flores Magon. "Get out, Ulises!!"
(The "RIP" is reordered letters from the symbol of the political party "PRI.")

My favorite!!! "Resistance is a feminine word." (Nouns have gender in Spanish - resistencia is feminine.)

The bottles of medicine have the symbols from each of the political parties on them. "jejeje" is evil laughter.
